PROTECTING THE OWYHEE CANYONLANDS

Tucked in the southeast corner of Oregon lies the largest remaining piece of unprotected wilderness in the lower 48. With the threat of mining and big oil companies facing this piece of wilderness, the Owyhee Canyonlands conservation proposal seeks to protect 2.5 million acres of public land.

Working with ONDA (Oregon Natural Desert Association), we created a short film and a 5-part film series featuring 5 user groups to raise awareness on protecting the Wild Owyhee.
