Shoot - SPRinG/SUMMER 2023
WHALE'S TAIL, ALASKA
Backpacking/packrafting multi-day trip through Denali National Park. This shoot would be a wild adventure traveling through Denali's pristine wilderness. With no trails, designated routes, or campsites, backpacking through Denali is as rugged as it gets.
TETON CREST, WY
Backpacking multi-day trip on the Teton Crest trail, cutting through the Jedadiah Wilderness area, Bridger Teton and Caribou-Targhee. This shoot would offer stunning ridgelines, beautiful sunrises & sunsets, and a massive landscape.
Presidential Traverse, nh
Backpacking & multi-day combinations of tents and huts on this iconic route through the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This shoot would also highlight a major section of the AT.

The focus of this shoot will be capturing a mix of action, lifestyle and product detailed shots. Meaning tighter close-ups of the products, shots of the product being incorporated in scenes, and the product in action. The action will be following the athletes on the trail and documenting their journey

When NZ Merino sheep farmer James McCaughan left the family farm and started traveling and sailing around the globe, he got a phone call from his dad telling him "hey, I'm stuck back here looking after the farm while you're out there traveling and sailing...that was my idea!" so a year later the family purchased a 40ft sailboat and now they take turns on the boat and farm. For 6 months out of the year James and his girlfriend will be sailing and then they swap with his parents and spend 6 months working the family farm. "It's a good work/life balance" says James.
